BIO

Josh Cohen was born in West Palm Beach, Florida; however, he spent most of his time growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2010, Josh pursued a BFA in Theatre at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. With an extended amount of acting training while being surrounded by a film community, Josh signed with Reel Sisters Talent in 2011.

Within the first year of being signed, Josh booked the role of Weapons Officer Clancy in the Syfy Channel original movie, American Warships (written and directed by Thunder Levin, writer of Sharknado). Josh had the opportunity to work along side Mario Van Peebles and Carl Weathers. In his second year, Josh booked a role on CBS Film's Last Vegas starring Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Kline, and Michael Douglas.  In Josh's third year, he booked a principal role in the BET channel original movie, Frat Brothers starring Romeo Miller aka Lil' Romeo. While on set, the director decided to name the actual character Josh Cohen. So this role turned into what some call a "Cameo". In the same year, Josh booked a role in the FOX hit drama, Red Band Society. Soon after, Josh signed with a second agency, Del Corral and Associates. In 2014, Josh left Reel Sisters Talent and signed with Artist's Resource Agency. He is currently signed with ARA and Del Corral.

Josh has worked on many other aspects of the film world. He can be seen with his family in the hit Food Network reality show, Restaurant Impossible. Josh has worked behind the scenes on productions such as: ABC's The Bachelorette and HBO's Eastbound and Down. With an extensive amount of participation in the local film community, Josh soon found a new passion; writing and producing. In 2014, Josh wrote and executive produced his first ever SAG family-friendly short film, Stinky Feet: The Short.

Josh graduated from UNC Wilmington with his Bachelor of Arts in 2015.  He will be moving from Wilmington, NC to New York City in July of 2015.
